Pride In Practice – LGBTQ+ Patients

Ainsdale Village Surgery is working towards Pride in Practice accreditation to ensure we achieve excellence in LGBTQ+ healthcare, and successfully meet the needs of our LGBTQ+ patients.

We are open to all and are dedicated to protecting diversity and equality.

We are here to listen to suggestions and feedback from our LGBTQ+ patients on their experiences with us. If you have something you want to share or feel would help us in this process, please let us know.

Our practice is supported by LGBT Foundation’s Pride in Practice service to improve the experiences of LGBTQ+ people accessing primary care services.

It is important to us if you feel you are able to share your sexual orientation, gender identity and trans status with us so that we may be able to offer the most appropriate support to you within our practice and refer you on to any relevant services if you may need them.

Please be assured that you can speak to any member of the team about this in complete confidence.
